Though already linked below (and in full under “Fulford does Islam”), I am compelled to illuminate the major point I take from Fulford’s Vdare.com article, which is that we must always resist the tyranny of political correctness, because it is used by the Enemies of Civilization so effectively to silence common-sense opposition. So here’s the relevant excerpt in case you don’t have time for the rest of Fulford’s excellent piece:
“Governments burning books that citizens own is evil and destructive. Burning books that you own yourself is a legitimate form of protest. And Jones’s effort has been very successful, even if he’s only a poor white American.
This is a Gingrich Big Idea (he’s used it before), but it’s an actual thing that Camus said in The Plague: “But again and again there comes a time in history when the man who dares to say that two and two make four is punished with death.”
Don’t succumb. Don’t tiptoe through the eggshells. Tramp through them boldly. Crush them. Grind them to powder. And smile while you’re at it. It’s exhilarating. And it’s liberating. The worst that can happen to you is that you might lose your job on some pretext, or be added to some secret government list, or be targeted by bug-eyed fanatics for execution. 🙂
